Hut 282 is located at the “Hengistbury Head” end of the sandbank, just a few minutes walk from the ferry pier and close to the “noddy train” station (driver will stop nearby, ask for the “gravel path”) .

On one side the hut overlooks the SSSI marshes and the harbour with the Priory in the distance,  the other looks out to sea and the Isle of Wight.

In 2013 the old hut was replaced by a stunning new build with integral kitchen (with new calor gas cooker and fridge), solar panel powered electricity with phone chargers, double doors open out to a large balcony, a sofa bed folds out for two adults to sleep. Upstairs is the loft which sleeps 3 confortably  and has stunning views of the water and the Isle of Wight thanks to full height glazing.

Outside the hut has storage lockers and a cavernous basement for storage, it also has  its own beach table and barbecue. There are bicycles available , deck chairs and beach games.

Hut 282 is ideal for a couples retreat or a family holiday, sorry but no pets.
